It is normal to feel apprehensive about paying for an intensive course without knowing if you’ll even pass at the end of it. We often get asked whether intensive courses work.
There are two really important factors to take into account.
- You need a good instructor. Sorted, you are looking at Swift Drive!
- Becoming a good driver quickly requires effort and repetition.
If you are having weekly lessons you may feel slightly demotivated after a while – with no light at the end of the tunnel. Naturally your effort will become less than someone who has their test in 7 days time.
The other downfall with weekly lessons for many pupils is remembering what you learnt and what was covered in the last lesson. If you are practicing every day regularly you are bound to pick up the skill of driving more quickly and there is little chance of forgetting.
So yes, an intensive course does work!
Lastly, intensive courses work for those who have realistic expectations. When looking for a course type for you, please read the recommended guidelines to help you choose a course that gives you the best possible chance of passing first time.
Don’t take our word for it though, read through the comments of those that have taken intensive courses with us.
